What a Successful Failure !!!
We've never lost an American in space, we're sure as hell not gonna lose one on my watch!
Failure is not an option.
I don't care about what anything was DESIGNED to do,
I care about what it CAN do.
NASA Director: This could be the worst disaster NASA's ever faced.
Gene Kranz: With all due respect, sir, I believe this is gonna be our finest hour.
GlobalSpec Awards First Great Moments in Engineering Award To Apollo 13 Engineers
All right, we're not doing this, gentlemen.
We are NOT going to do this.
We're not going to go bouncing off the walls for ten minutes,
'cause we're just going to end up back here with the same problems!
Try to figure out how to stay alive!
Don't you worry. If they could get a washing machine to fly, my Jimmy could land it.
